Mission Statement

The Hispanic Development Empowerment & Education Committee (HDEEC) is dedicated to advancing the equity, representation, and success of Riverhead’s Hispanic community. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through education, economic opportunity, and civic engagement, while building strong partnerships across government, business, and community organizations.

We strive to ensure that Hispanic voices are heard and valued in the decision-making process, promote equitable access to resources, and create pathways for leadership and development. By fostering unity and collaboration, HDEEC works to strengthen Riverhead as a whole, honoring diversity as a source of resilience and growth.
