The Beach Committee comprises residents from each of our Town beach communities.

• South Jamesport Beach - End of Town Beach Road, Jamesport

Overview 

Mission Statement

To make recommendations to the Town Board regarding making the beach areas more attractive, physically healthier, and accessible to the residents of the Town of Riverhead.

The Beach Committee addresses the specific needs of our beaches and examines issues related to maintaining the beach as a major asset to the town. Issues that may receive consideration, evaluation, and advisory opinions by the committee include: maintenance programs, amenities, usage, rules, and additional similar topics to make the beaches more attractive, physically healthier, and accessible to the residents of the Town of Riverhead.
