As part of MTA's ongoing infrastructure improvements, the final paving on the Edgar Avenue crossing is scheduled to begin on December 4th, starting at 7AM until 3PM. The road will be closed to through traffic, but local traffic can use alternative routes via Shade Tree Lane to Hubbard Avenue and Washington Avenue to Peconic Bay Blvd/Meeting House Creek Road.
We encourage drivers to plan ahead and use alternate routes as needed.
