Town Board Liaison
I have lived in Wading River for the last 26 years with my husband Peter. We raised our two children here. In 2018, I retired from the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office after 30 years of service. I was assigned to the Homicide Bureau for 11 years where I tried 29 homicide trials. I was promoted to Deputy Bureau Chief of the Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Bureau. For 8 years, I supervised 15 Assistant District Attorneys in their prosecution of violent felony cases which included physical and sexual abuse of children and domestic violence felonies. I also supervised 10 Assistant District Attorneys as the Deputy Bureau Chief of the Major Crimes Bureau in their prosecution of violent felonies such as robbery, burglary, rape, and assault.
Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Touro Law School where I teach N Y Evidence and coach the law students in national mock trial competitions. I have been a life long public servant for the residents of Riverhead and Suffolk County. I am proud to serve the residents of Riverhead as your Town Councilwoman.
