Not a man to give up he ran for Highway Superintendent again in 2008 and won.

  • Completed the constructions of two (2) new salt barns
  • Upgraded the radio communication system
  • Reorganized the snowplowing routes for faster, more efficient removal of ice and  snow

  • Attends conventions and classes to keep up with the newest techniques and ideas for more efficient ways of maintaining the town infrastructure
  • And although the department’s employees are down almost 30% (from 47 employees to 34) they continue to provide the excellent service that the taxpayers have come to expect

Mr. Woodson has been a member of the Riverhead Fire Department for over twenty five years, six years as Chief and he currently holds the position of 1st Vice President of the Riverhead Town Fire Chief’s Association.
